Hailey and Jacob’s wedding day celebration was nine years in the making. These two fell in love during their sophomore year of high school. Since then, they’ve spent years growing their love together. From attending the same university, studying abroad in Ireland for a semester together, moving to new states multiple times, and adopting a puppy, their love has only grown stronger. Every single step of their journey has led them here, to their wedding day surrounded by all the people who love them most.

Every detail of Hailey and Jacob’s day was thoughtfully chosen, from each of their vendors to the soft spring color palette to their iconic dessert table and to romantic florals that tied everything together.

Getting Ready at the Loveland Home

Loveland Estates offers a couple of different options for getting ready, both onsite at the venue or offsite at the Loveland Home.

On-site at Loveland Estates has two getting-ready spaces, giving both the bride and groom a dedicated space to get ready on their wedding day. There’s a dedicated wedding prep suite right when you walk in the main doors of the venue that is filled with plenty of mirrors, seating options, and countertops, giving plenty of space for the bride and bridesmaids to get ready in comfort. Upstairs, there is a spacious loft available as an additional prep space, perfect for the groom and his groomsmen.

Just a few minutes down the road from the main venue is the Loveland Home. This home sleeps up to 12 people, has 3 bathrooms, a fully functioning kitchen, and plenty of room for your whole wedding party. It’s the perfect space for getting ready or staying in the night before your wedding.

Hailey chose to get ready at the Loveland Home, and Jacob chose to get ready in the loft at Loveland Estates. Both were surrounded by their closest friends, full of anticipation as they got ready for their wedding day.

Outdoor Ceremony at Loveland Estates

One of my favorite features of Loveland Estates is their gorgeous outdoor covered ceremony space. This space is surrounded by vibrant greens, has ample bench seating for the guests, has a beautiful white altar, and is covered with a glass roof that gives it the most peaceful greenhouse feel. When the sun shines down on this space, it is absolutely lovely.

Hailey and Jacob chose this space to say their vows to each other, and it was absolutely perfect. Surrounded by their closest friends and family, you could feel the love and joy radiating off of them as they said, “I do.”

Bridal Party Portraits at Loveland Estates

One of the things I love the most about Loveland Estates is that it provides ample photo opportunities without ever leaving. From the lake, to the surrounding woods, to the actual venue building itself, there are endless opportunities to get creative and offer variety to your final wedding gallery.

We chose to take the bridal party portraits in front of the lake, and it was the perfect location. Their bridal party brought so much genuine love and energy to the day. Hailey and Jacob were truly surrounded by the kindest, most supportive group of friends. You could really tell how much their friends truly adored them.

Couple’s Portraits at Loveland Estates

For their couples portraits, we chose to use both the woods and the lake as the backdrops. You could feel the joy radiating off of Hailey and Jacob as they were soaking up their first moments as husband and wife together. The smiles on their faces were everything.

Hailey and Jacob broke up their bridal portraits into two different sections throughout their day. This not only provided more variety to their gallery, but it also broke up the portraits into smaller sections, allowing them to enjoy more of their wedding day and soak up more time with their guests. We took the bulk of their portraits before the ceremony, and then snuck away for some more during golden hour. I always recommend sneaking away for some portraits during golden hour. This is the perfect time to get some photos with the dreamiest light, and it offers you two a break alone during the reception. Trust me, it’s worth it.

Reception at Loveland Estates

The reception space at Loveland Estates is housed within the main building of the venue. Right when you walk in, you’ll be greeted with massive windows that bring in the most gorgeous natural lighting. At the front of the space is a giant brick wall that is styled with both string lights and some hanging greenery, making it the perfect spot for your head table. There’s a modern feel to the space with both vaulted ceilings and cement flooring that balance out the brick wall and greenery nicely. In the back, they offer a full-service bar, which is located just under the stairs that lead up to the loft.

For cocktail hour, the venue offers a covered patio that is just behind the ceremony space. The area offers more seating, a bar cart, and space for yard games. It has a boho feel to it and is the perfect space for guests to hang out and grab a drink between the ceremony and reception.

Hailey and Jacob’s wedding day continued on in both of these spaces with a full celebration. From the heartfelt toasts, to first dances, to a packed dancefloor, to the most iconic dessert table I’ve ever seen. There was so much excitement in the air for the happy couple.
